We pay via PayPal for all airline miles. For credit card accounts such as Amex, Chase, or Citi Thank You, you can choose to get paid via Echeck (check in the email) or check. However, echecks and checks are only sent after we use the points.
Amex and Chase points are used within a few days. However, airline miles can take a few months or more to use them.
While airlines prefer that customers use the miles they earn, there is no law restricting the sale.
